  • I like your thinking. Don't listen to the guys crying about you putting holes in your saw. Its your saw. I used to do the same thing with my circular saw when I did drywall by shaving half of the foot off of the bottom of the saw.

  • what kind of camera?

  • I love how you guy's work together, I'll have to show my parents this (they usually kill each other when working together on a d.i.y project) :P

  • I masturbate daily to this video.

  • I just thought I might share that if you use a router table with an up cut flute bit you dont have the blade kerf problem like the table saw. just an FYI if you have one available

  • "mines about 20 inches long" wife giggles, "Yeah I wish."

  • Nice job. You make it look fun.

  • GENIUS

    Singapore Jo

  • You two are hysterical. . . .lol

  • "mine's about 20 inches long..." lol

  • Can you do this in metal plate if you had a metal saw.would you got a nice circle.

  • "Mines about 20 inches long.......I wish" Lmao. Your just amazing :D

  • you need to some math skills

  • you re great .... love your show

  • Thank you!

  • No wonder your wife's always smiling!!! LOL! ;-)

  • Hey, just wondering, I'll be using the table saw at school to do this, so do you have a recommendation for me b/c i can't drill a hole through their table saw?

  • Take 3/4" plywood the sizes of the saw work area x 8" wide. Sand smooth and add a wax or high gloss surface so it does not grab the wood. Place a bolt through it 1/4" x 3" long. Counter sink the nut flush. Clamp the wood to desired size from the blade so the clamps are below the work area. More bolts on both ends may be needed.

Working bolt straight up in the air. drop wood with 1/4" hole down the bolt. Start cut with blade all the way down work up follow video.

    Dan

  • You two are the coolest. Energy efficient AND fun, talk about a match made in heaven.

  • Can't believe there are sex jokes in this!!! So funny!!! lollol

  • Great videa, good to see such a practical design and great teamwork

  • 4:20, that was funny.

  • That is two things I learned today!

  • it might make it easier to cut the slots before cutting your rings out, would save having to realign it before temporarily screwing the pieces together also if you have a router you can use pivot points at half the diameter of the PVC pipe you are using and cut curves for your PVC pipe to fit more snug.

  • thanks just learning :)

  • "cut yer work in half by a third" LOL

  • your girl is one cool chic. She is very attractive also. So, cool and attractive = Lucky Dan! Keep an eye on her Dan... I'm coming to Florida to see if I can sway her to love a fat old man!! lol

  • Perhaps if you mark the two lines diagonaly to each corner you could endup having a closer to the center line if your square is not too unperfect. Anyway Excellent idea of Cutting!

  • On cutting your blades, you might try cutting to length first. Then glue caps on both ends. Then cut in half. The caps thus make a mounting flange

that you can simple screw to your plywood. that cuts out having to make all those mounting cuts at 30 degrees.

  • You did got Denice a little bit mad in this video LOL :) . Watch out mad woman are more unpredictable then the wood when making a circel from it :) . But I must say that I would agree to Denise when see tried to give you a hint to " thank her for the circel see did make" and you did put here totally out of the picture.

I think Denice is hot maybe that is the real reason I am giving this strange comments :) as a men.

  • great work guys! Denise, you're hot!

  • Great circle cut method, though it sounds like a great job for my router table!

  • your a good man this is very imformative good on you trying to make the world a better place for our children.

  • where's you ear muffs. you're gonna go deaf like that

  • Comment removed

  • at the end he says you cut your work in half by a third !? what...

  • :-), yea I know, makes no sense. Opps

  • jajajajaja 20 inches, you wish jajaja

  • you can do this with a band saw... it takes a slight different approach to starting the cut though... But its the same concept just different saw

  • "mines about 20 inches long...hehe.. iw ish" XD nice!!

  • Clever method for making circles on a tablesaw.

  • so hardware is evrything?

  • Now you stripped it out.... lol

  • Nice inside joke at 4.28

  • i have got 2. 80 w 12v panels but have got 48v inverter do i get one more 80w panel ?????

  • hehehe, I love it. Only a girl would have to ask "how do you get that bevel again?"

    Yup, spatial perception--it's a guy's domain ;)

  • great vid keep it up but if you want to keep up saftey where is hearing protection keep it up guys

  • Awesome.

  • I love your show and you guys are so funny too!!

I'll definitely be looking for more episodes

  • :-) Thank You.

  • Thanks for another great video!

  • come on get on with going to sleep here

  • You guys are great. I have no idea what you are doing, but it is fun to watch.

  • use a router its waaayyyy eaasssyer because you just mount a pivot on it takes a quarter of the time

  • Post a video of that process on 1/2" plywood and you can do a video response.

    watch?v=qt62CEWUw7I

The above router video requires multi passes for thicker material. Routers are not good for ripping thick stock. I have 2 plunge routers, they do not come close in speed or a clean cut.

Our process can cut 3" deep material in under 10 minutes.

    Thank you for the comment.

  • every way to do things with another tool is always helpful. most of us do not have a shop filled with tools. so koodos

the smaller the router bit the less material it takes out and the easyer job it has. yes this would take some time on a 3 inch thick piece. but on 1/2 inch stock you should have no problem.

just was saying that this job it would probly be easier

    again koodos

  • Another safety tip: Denise should have her hair back when using power tools.

  • Make yourself a featherboard to hold the plywood down on the blade. Makes things easier and safer.

  • do you get paid to do all these experiments? or is it your hobby?

  • Awsome video Dan and Wife! LOL! You guys are awsome!!!!!!! 5 stars! You too are such a cute couple I swear. I also caught the whole "20 inches thing" The wife laughs and says "I wish! LOL! I spit my coffee all over my keyboard with that one. That was damn funny. I love you guys! Keep the videos coming. Denise is absolutely beautiful Dan and you sir are one lucky man. peace out you two.

  • Awesome!

  • thanks

  • You rock Danny boy. Wooot! Cheers. Gotta get started with this one soon.

  • Nice warning about reaching across a saw. This is good info for teaching. Peoples natural reaaction is to grab it. Glad you were there to help her. Good stuff.

  • I love how your wife giggled when you said "mine is about 20" long" LOL

  • :-) LOL, she is funny.

  • hey dan isnt the way u have the blades set up kinda have drag? what if u went with a V blade design like this ^ then when the blade comes back into the wind it cuts it, where as with the current blade design its____ batting it it coming back into the wind.

  • This is modeled after a blower fan. Other blade designs like a V should work good. The nice thing about the frame to this is the ability to do change outs and blade testing. I have a few ideas that might be better.

  • Sweet power

with chains removed from the power companies =)

  • I've done lots of sanding and I hate it too haha.

But sanding does give a more finished look especially if you plan on painting.

  • great... but now i need a table to work :(

  • See like I said in my comment in part 1 Table top! As always great video!

  • Nice touch...i just noticed the plywood looks like it was originally for hurricane panels for your windows...nice way to recycle.

Can't wait to see how this project progresses.

Wish my wife was as enthused about my work...hehe

    Steve

  • Im looking forward to the next video.

    Thank you very much.

  • XD You guys are so funny XD
