@leahcimrac the wild parrots in Africa are all concerned about bacteria in the lakes and rivers where they live as well. My senator is on it. I'll send you the bill. I never knew parrots needed a sterile environment! Thank goodness you chimed in. I will share that I only use all parrot safe natural cleaners and a steamer. My birds are all healthy and well. You need to go get a life.
@Gl4di4t0r100 Can't be tamed? I doubt it. You just are not doing it right, please get the help of someone who knows how to train birds. Your bird and you will have a much better life together.
I know that it may look hopeless now, but birds are very social animals, and long for the affection and attention you want to show them. The problem is many folks just dont have the time it takes to handle a bird, especially one that is frightened of them. I would suggest getting as many parrot books as possible and scouring the internet for all the info you can get. I have several abuse rescues and progress is slow, but definite. It takes patience and alot of time.
Tap water and bacteria all over the tap. Not to mention the chemicals you use to clean it. I hope the parrots ok.
