It's been a long 14 years and my memory, which isn't the best anymore, is of an angelic instrumental herald of trumpets (& not exactly this synth version) blaring it out to all heaven. @aekoriginale21 nah you gotta hear the whole story. the verve borrowed a bit of the melody with the permission of the stones, then went on to make bittersweet symphony, perhaps one of the most recognisable tunes of the 21st century. when the stones saw how incredible it was, they took the verve to court saying that they had borrowed too much of the song, and won (of course- they are one of the most influential rock groups in the world). from that day on 100% of profits have gone to the stones.
