I'm part black myself and have to say this is one of the finest comedies i have ever seen. I'm used to British comedy since 1959 and this show rates as "classic". Brent Butt is a genius and he's chosen just the right characters for this series plus the timing is perfect. Race has nothing to do with comedy...it's down to talent! To be able to present comedy without being offensive is unique these days and Brent did just that.

Today is going to be my third time. The sound studio is in my city (That's where oscar and emma's house is and stuff) and the set is in my province. I got to see Corner Gas, the Ruby, and all the sets of 'Dog River' on main street. I also met Davis and Karen (the police officers)

Karen was talking to everyone and mingling with the extras, she's a fun person and you can tell she loves her job. The show is done filming now and I have had the chance to be in a scene with each of the main characters. Davis, Karen, Emma, Oscar, Brent, Wanda, Lacey, and Hank. Very fun people. I made Hank laugh. LOL. I fake smoked on the playground during a rehearsal (a couple of the crew members gave us fake ciggarets and cell phones for a joke). =D

I especially liked 2 episodes: "Hook, line and sinker" from season one, and "Security cam", which I think is from season two.

They are all quite funny, though.
