  • @ReturnToSound

    u r sooo write!!!

  • I wish American music was beautiful like this.

  • @PadfootAndMoony1 American music is beautiful. We have our own stuff, bulgarians have theirs. I wouldn't replace gershwin with this.

  • @F0reseer this is about as retarded a comment as one could hope for - why so insecure? We all live on the same planet, remember?

  • @TheBass2themax I think you were replying to PadfootAndMoony1's post, right?

  • @F0reseer yeah I was sorry...

  • @F0reseer - if you were the one who said the thing about not replacing Gershwin with this then it was addressed to you - padfootandmoony's comment was retarded - yours was about as retarded - I'm sure Gershwin loved this shit - since when is one kind of music supposed to replace another - it was just an inane thing to say. Peace

  • @TheBass2themax We are essentially saying the exact same thing, you do realize that right?

  • @F0reseer I would.

  • @RameshChotanagour keyword was "replace," which means no more Rhapsody in Blue, Porgy and Bess, Summertime, and all the musical legacy of Gershwin's work. The other poster implied american music is unimpressive compared to this. I was simply pointing out that we have a rich history of great works also worthy of notice: Philip Glass, Aaron Copland, John Coolidge Adams, Gershwin, and in popular music...countless others.... this is beautiful but it's not as if America is a musical wasteland.

  • @ReturnToSound well said spread the word

  • This is amazing. Listened to this several times now... can't get enough of it. Makes me feel like climbing up a mountain and screaming at the top of my voice at the summit. The young woman singing the high part looks and sounds like a Goddess.

  • Люблю!!!

  • So cool and addicting!

  • Il testo mancava, ed è difficile trovarlo in internet!! Se qualcuno che conosce la lingua lo traslittera in caratteri latini sarebbe un piacere!!!

  • I love the Trio Bulgarka.

  • Upravo sam shvatio da razumijem bugarski.

  • I wish i could hear the entire song.

  • Enjoy music for what it is. Language of the world. What else is there can you can enjoy but not understand. I don't need to know what they are saying to enjoy...... these woman sing like angels.

  • I'm tired of everyone arguing. The fact is that the music is beautiful no matter where it's from. Gosh, why can't people simply enjoy the music instead of posting all this garbage?

Whining about who's is who's isn't making anything better.

  • @debatinglogic so we dont give a fock what do you feel or what do you think is garbage right.there nobody try to make some shit better than another just we like to know eachother not like you sheettttt

  • I picked their Lp randomly from a local library few weeks ago. Now I'm stunned that I've found that it's the same group Kate Bush worked with. Very interesting, beautiful.

  • May I throw in some light non-political, non-nationalistic comment in the heat of the word battle below? I haven't got a clue what these ladies sing about; but it sounds bloody fantastic. I first heard them with Kate Bush. Beautiful.

  • hear, hear !! I wish all the nutters that have posted their political bile get put on an island and left to get on with it! lovely music x

  • This type of folklore tradition is much older than 500 years of Turkish colonialism in some parts of Balkan peninsula. The Turks were one of the most crude invadors in the hisory. Their goal was to destroy everything, that wasnt Turkish. Most of the christian sacral architecture was destroyed and people could preserve their proud and identity only by songs and dances. The real and true demonstration of everything that you call Turkish in comapring with us is Hagia Sofia.

  • Just sum up everything that is truly Turkish of it and you will understand what I am trying to tell you! We dont live turkish style of life, even they ruled most of us for many decades! Most of people in this type of Europe dont like Turks, becose our ancestors lived terible, during their ocuoation.

  • PROUD TO BE BULGARIAN!

  • I love this, it's so beautiful and gentle, yet with powerful energy.

  • This has nothing to do with fucking islam! Everyone I know from Bulgaria hates muslims more than I do!!!

  • omg what an ignorant fool u are. islam architecture envolved completly seperatly from ortodox till 13-14 cent. when turks ocupied moost of byzant. And sure is only that u took more from islam then muslems from ortodox coz they were the rulers in that time.

  • Beautiful

  • Kinda beautiful

  • Oh my God! Their ethnic clothing and jewelry reminds me so much of the Yemenite clothing and jewelry! And I know Bulgaria is in Europe and Yemen is in the Middle East - but what similarities!

  • смотан турчин! turkey YOU LOST BULGARIA, ACCEPT THAT! WE ARE FREEE!!!

  • we are free :))) haha burn in hell turkish

  • that comment of the turkish guy is really absurd.....like if turkish didnt created anything....he could talk about math or science...but instead wants to think this type of singing was taken from turkish.......this is actually the opposite of colonialism..hahah!! He invaded other country, and think the other country's culture is his!!! HAHAAH!!!

Now seriously...this is a billion miles away from turkish music, and its unique in the world cos of its harmony and phrasing and voice color...period!

  • Bulgarian nation is half Bulgar, half Slav, hal Thrakian. Origin of Bulgars is from Asia, we are from Iranic group, so it is normal to have common things.
