You know he couldn't scramble up because he was sorta on fire and burning and dying and having a prosthetic arm which wasn't working properly because of the fire more likely. You brought this upon yourself Luke. :P
Yeah like in the Phantom Menace Darth Maul's so called high ground meant squat against Obi-Wan, when will people learn that the prequels are amongst the worst films ever made.
I always have hated Star Wars nerds for rants like this because really, the explanation for why the "High Ground" gave Obi Wan the advantage is fucking simple: In that situation where Anakin either would have to climb the mountain or do a jump attack his footing would be at a disadvantage to Obi Wan who was on flat ground. Also, they can't fly and lost the hover devices earlier in the fight. Star Wars nerd are so fucking stupid. "GREEDO SHOT FIRST!"
@typhonsentra No... If you've actually seen the original theatrical release of Star Wars from 1977, you know that HAN SHOT FIRST. And really, "Star Wars nerds are so fucking stupid"--what are you? It sounds like you've seen the movies, you even know Greedo's name, what does that make you? A Star Wars nerd. Shut up and bask in the glory of your own geekdom--even if you have never thought of yourself in that light before.

Lol, I'm pretty sure that was somewhere in season 5 or 6, that was the episode where they went to New York and he was in the limo ranting about Manhattan. (:
I just figured that because Obi Wan knew the limits of Anakin's force jump, and Mustafar is a lava planet - and he figured that Anakin was going to try to kill him at any cost, even miscalculating the jump height needed to do that.
I hate the fact that Padme dies "from having her heart broken". *growl*
first off they cant fly , cant do mind control, and if u have a high ground in a battle u have the advantage doesn't mean u win.

Yes, Mister Guy, he could've scurried to higher ground. But he *didn't*. ;-)
(The more important point is that Obi-Wan beat Darth Maul in Episode I, even though Maul had the high ground.)

This is so funny, this reminds me of how Robot Chicken satirize SW.
Besides it Anakins rage and arrogance to leap/ out-do Obi-wan that caused his downfall, literally....to scurry wouldn't be good enough.

whenever someone argues with me I just stand ontop of a chair or stairs and declare "ITS ALL OVER I HAVE THE HIGHER GROUND"

@acanthopleura I never noticed that.
