Their is nobody under God's Heaven that could of sang this as bueatifully as Anthony Callea himself. Nobody, and when I say Nobody I mean nobody, no Mirah, no Lady Ga Ga, Cher, Elton John and even Celine Dion cannot out perform Anthony when it comes to delivering this bueatiful prayer! Anthonys voice is God given and I'm sure he wanted Anthony to set an example of himself for all others to see, and we do, we see Anthony deliver this prayer like no other could!!

Anthony Callea ... FANTASTIC voice and performance. He has an incredible natural-born talent. Casey Donovan is extremely talented too and won Australian Idol 2004 but as in the USA, American Idol contestants that place 2nd sometimes enjoy more international success than the winners. Never feel bad for 2nd Place finishers ... especially when they sound and look like Anthony Callea. He certainly is blessed and will have an AMAZING singing and performing career. Cheers.

@colodude1 Thank you. It hurt at the time but I'd expected it without even watching the show as the judges openly lobbied for Casey. It was long ago and he's done so much since - Idol's just a TV reality show. I'm convinced that he's totally outstanding and never second in any way, especially in this song. Imagine hearing it that first time in a pop show! I hope you get a chance to hear him live one day - he's a mesmerising performer whose voice isn't fully caught in recording.

An extremely beautiful outstanding performance Anthony. Listening to Anthony sing The Prayer always gives me goosebumps on goosebumps. Such an honour to perform for the queen one he truely deserved.. Anthony certainly does have the voice of an angel he has such a beautiful pure voice that possesses so much power and intensity. What an honour to sing the most beautiful song in the world from the best singer in the world to the Queen. An honour Anthony completely deserves. Every time Anthony sings The Prayer it is exquisite and so beautiful but this is one of the best performances of it I have heard from The Master. Thank You Mairanya for posting this video. I love this performance of The Prayer,I was outside St Andrews Cathedral that day with the thousands of other people lining the streets.They had enormous Speakers & Monitors outside I remember it so well,as he started to sing the crowd went deadly quiet & as his voice rang out through the silent streets,I got goosebumps on my goosebumps the crowd around me were transfixed,& when he finished they applauded like no other, if they hadn't already been standing it would be a standing ovation.Devine
