Gosh add Epyphany for crying out load!!!! and claudia as well...by the time they change it, sarah browns one year contract will be up! i thought they did it like these so to add and take ppl out will be easier! there is no excuse for this!!! GH, OLTL, and AMC's opening needs to be FREAKING UPDATED!!!!!!!!! This is a slap in the face to Sarah Brown! put her and sonya eddy in the opening!! NOW!
I read it on Soap Opera Network and then on Daytime Confidential. The same thing was rumored earlier this year (I know better than to believe rumors, lol). But I'm pretty sure that it is official this time.
Well Daytime Confidential said this before and nothing so far had come true so I'm not really trustworthy. OH well I guess we'll have to wait and see.
But if I know GH, they will probably wait until either November or February Sweeps, regardless if it is only another crappy little update or a whole new opening. But if they do debut a new opening, I can only hope that it will be more unique and updated more often.
Well probably to keep costs down, because the price of gas is killing every industry, they'll probably recycle the music and just do a remix of it. It worked for AMC 3 times.

She was still dead, but a figment of Nikolas' imagination via the tumour and a dosage of illegal drugs from Dr. Devlin. And when he got it removed and went off the drugs, she vanished and a beautiful montage followed their departure.
Wow, that is so devastating. I thought they were going to shock us by bringing back Emily from the dead - for real. I guess Emily really is dead..forever. :( Well, it doesn't make sense that she's still in the credits, she's dead. Yet, Georgie and Dillon are on the show still, and not in the credits. Talk about bizzare. Thanks again for the info. :)
OMG, she did?? I am crying now! I cannot believe this...Emily and Georgie were popular characters and favorites amongst other fans of the show..this is unbelievable. I am in utter shock. I am even shaking. Speechless.
You should really catch up. Invest some time into BitTorrent, a popular downloading application. Someone posts episodes of General Hospital and the downloads usually last within a two week period before dying out. That way, you can just download and have yourself a marathon when you get some free time.
Also they STILL need to update the last shot of the men since nearly half aren't on the show anymore. Sonya Eddy needs to be added since shes contract and Michael needs to be taken out since he leaves this month. They have great new promo shots of all the actors why haven't they premiered a brand new opening yet.
When I saw this opening, I thought that they were going to add the new characters on the show like Johnny and Claudia Zacharra inculding a few others.
In other words, they came to and realized they didn't need Georgie, Coop or Skye in the opening anymore. I think Bobbie's gone recurring, idk. I am a little tiffed that they don't at least give Claudia, Johnny and Diane their own shots. But thats just me.
they didn't have to change. they just had to update and add the names (if it's possible, since the visuals are so messy).

Diane is a recurring role. Not contract. Opening credits are only for contract players usually. There have been a few exceptions.
