@bassie1995 okay, so inorder to start a flow of fluid you have to turn on the stream and put an initial speed, when u turn those on a fluid should start emitting out of your object, if you want to stop the fluid you can use a keyframe(which honestly is kinda hard to do but im sure you can figure it out) or you can stop the simulation, turn off the stream and put the initial speed to 0, thats how to stop a stream of fluid
@bassie1995 okay, simple example-at frame zero right click on stream and put ad key, make sure ur stream is off b4 you add the key, then right click on initial speed and press add key, make sure your initial speed is at zero, then move to frame 10...etc, once you moved frames turn ur stream on and then right click and add key, also at frame 10 put ur initial speed to say 2.0 and add key, this will slowly increase fluid creation, play around with that and u should be able to figure it out
@OaKeN3D no it was a particle mesh, one thing that may help you is when u use a mesh particularly a particle mesh is to make sure and put the auto polygon size on, this will give you a much better mesh
@137bff ok, i can get a very nice mesh with particle mesh but i cant use particle mesh with hybrido, you say in the description you use hybrido, how do you use particle mesh with hybrido?
@OaKeN3D yes you can all you have to do is right click nd go to insert emitters, click on it and select your gridfluidemitter, then go to the top and build meshes
This should be a non-Newtonian fluid (a little nausea)

How do you make the emitter stop after a while? Just delete it?
bassie1995 8 months ago
@bassie1995 i just stopped the emitter, i didnt delete i just stopped the flow

@137bff And how would you do that? I can't find the max. number of particles parameter...
bassie1995 7 months ago
@bassie1995 okay are you using the hybrido simulator or the regular simulator?
137bff 7 months ago
@137bff I'm using the hybrido simulator...
Also forgot to say: Nice animation, the fluid (-thingy :P) looks very nice!

@137bff Stopping the sim and then letting it stop pouring was what I was thinking of, but in a slightly different way...
But, how does the keyframe method work? I don't really get that part xD

lol, that looks so nasty!
Well done! I just had to kill a 30 hour render because I forgot to turn on the smoothing filter for my mesh.
Sometimes the learning process is painful :)

is that a grid mesh? because i cant get a nice mesh like that with grid mesh

Nice vid. Can I ask how long it took to render ?

@D4RK809 right around 5 hours, i wanted to make it more glossy but time wouldnt allow that
