@ELRaGEDaT still wouldn't be strong enough to defeat madara alone but his power would be sheer. the only problem is that if he were in sage mode, he'd have to stay still for a couple of minutes to gather in chakra. at the same time his controlled jinchuriki will drain down his chakra a lot quicker. by sage mode runs out, his jin form will run out as well. in short, if one mode fails, the other mode goes down as well rendering him too weak to battle.
