They figure that since most of the Bachelors are in their 30's they would want a bevy of young 20 somethings to look at. The only time they moved away from this formula was during Byron Velnick's season and Trista who was 31. The single mothers presented to Jason in relation to the single women in my opinion are less attractive and don't appear as youthful and energetic as Jason is. The mothers seem bogged down with their responsibility where Jason seems to be more carefree.

Trista was in her mid-twenties when she was on the first bachelor and lost to a girl in her early twenties. She and Ryan are close in age.
Byron was older and picked a woman who was comparatively older as well.

Jason was surrounded by 25 women...he is not only handsome but a gentleman.
