I just saw that it has been a year since I viewed this nasheed. And I remember listening to this in Canada and saying ah one day I will go there one day. well the mercy of Allah subhana wa ta'al is endless. He had planned that I come and live in Medinah and that I finally achieve my dream of enjoying meccah anytime I want. It takes me 6 hrs by bus to go to meccah and I have been there quite frequently. There's one hadeeth where 2 girls are singing and striking the duff on Eid. The prophet (saw) was in the same room lying down.

Hazrat abu-bakr (ra) enters and tells the girl to stop singing their satanic song.

The Prophet (saw) stopped him and said leave them.

There are many reasons for this:

They were Immature still and not liable

They were girls

It was Eid

The songs they sang were to raise the spirits of bravery and were beneficial and a aid in war

he used it only at the time of nikkah to GRAB THE PEOPLE'S ATTENTION FOR ANOUNCEMENTS thats why ulama have aloud the use of the duff as long as no impermissible act is committed and the duff should be struck in a way to fulfill the necessity of striking the duff in other words IT SHOULD BE USED TO ANNOUNCE STUFF but STILL SOME ULAMA HAVE EVEN PROHIBITED THAT. SO ITS BEST NOT TO BE USED AT ALL.

SO PLEASE AVOID NASHEEDS WITH THE DUFF

I really don't know why you are saying that to avoid the duff, and duff is you know sunnah to use it u can use it at occasians like yes at a nikkah, but you can use the duff and the duff is the only instrument we can use in islam, thats why we use the duff. and really don't assume that the prophet did such things.

Brother i have given a speech about this and have researched this in depth.

Our respected Ulama (scholars) tell us to avoid the duff.

It Was Only used at NIKKAH AND SIMILAR THINGS ONLY TO ANNOUNCE AND TO grab the attention of people.

Not once was it used for music.

Nor was it approved.

The duff is being used today as a musical instrument.

Music is Not Permissible In Islam for many reasons.
