I'm sure she is a nice woman, but I wonder what she is trying to prove. Women and children have a very easy time getting good housing provided in communities where there is little problem with crime and there is access to good schools. To be "homeless" with two girls for eight years in a vehicle strikes me as excessively "excessive". I'm Native American myself and I know how easy it is for an intelligent person to improve things for her children, if she wants to, even now.
I support everything you do for the entire population of people struggling in the United States and world wide. It is a shame people have to struggle like this for I lived in my car and lost my job. I am on the edge of being homeless myself. My pops lets me stay for awhile but I have to leave soon with no place to go. I search for jobs daily but still smile and remain positive. I have education also. Peace!

@DOCSAFETUBE I think you are asking all the right questions. If you look at what she posted on change.org a year ago you'll see that people have been helping her and nothing has changed. When you do the same thing and nothing changes in 8 years, then maybe you need to change what you are doing. Other states are doing better even during the economic crisis, and they have programs that will help with housing. People with cars have the luxury of being able to relocate, at least.
@LawayneWilliamson Selling the van would be bad. The amount they get for it would only go so far and they'd be back where they are now ... this time, without a safe, warm place to sleep. Many single people who are struggling from paycheck to paycheck (who don't have kids) are starting to utilize this option. That huge rent check you don't have to pay each month can go a long way ... and some of these motor homes can be amazingly comfortable. I'd hate to have to do it with kids though.

Mom is smart. I appreciate what she is doing for her kids. Hopefully they can get back on their feet soon. Seems like she is trying hard to make the homelessness as fun as she can for her kids, so this wont be a depressing experience for them. As an adult who went thru really hard times as a kid, its all how your parents handle diversity that gives you good growing skills.

i dont know why you need a golden voice to be put in the focus and be helped...when people deal with these situations..maybe real change would take place if everyone took a personal..and collective interest.
America is becoming a very sad picture. Our system has failed as long as one human has no real place to live. At least they have one of the toughest vans ever to call their own. Those things are built like tanks! They run forever.
I will pray for this poor woman as she seems to be so well educated and hopefully she will be able to get her life back on tract. God be with her, she needs your prayers!If I were able to, I would offer her a home and help her financially.
These videos are always out of context. What did these people DO to become homeless? She might've blown her money on Starbucks for all I know.
