The reason the raptor is so maneuverable and at such speeds is due to its new engines. It has twin pratt & whitney turbofan engines which pump out over a combined thrust of 70,000lbs which is insane! very few aircraft have had stronger engines. This is the first U.S. fighter to have a power to weight ratio of over 1 which means it can basically stand vertically in the air and then accelerate upwards in vertical. I know close to everything about the raptor any questions let me know :)

Both are two very different classes of aircraft. My opinion...they are the best in there classes and specifications.

F-35 is not "the best" at anything it does, its a jack of all trades, master of none. The F-22 is unarguably the best air to air fighter in the world. The Russians have actually given up trying to build an aircraft that compares, the PAK-FA (Russia's next-gen jet) is being compared to the f-35 by the Russians because it isn't the dogfighter that he f-22 is. Granted the X-36 would have been a better platform than either, but maybe Boeing is designing its next-gen fighter out of it.

I like the P-51 mustang the best eventhough the F22 is crazy. He fought in the battle of Midway in on e of those during Pearl Harbor and was pretty badass. Im looking to be a pilot like him pretty soon. We're very similar, we even look alike.

As air passes over the surface of the wing, the air pressure drops. That drop in pressure also causes a corresponding drop in temperature. The moisture in the air condenses into water, and you get wing contrails / clouds.
