  • 240 p is terrible. re upload at 480 at least

  • mitsuko uchida is my hero

  • Inspirational performance - the best I've heard!

  • Working on this song myself. Think it's going good until I hear this:(

    Friggin ornamentations.....

  • Sometimes Mozart is just simple, sweet and delicious to listen.

  • I am learning this piece right now. I am preparing for competition in June and this further inspired me to keep on going.

  • @daomaoanran Good luck at the competition. You're better than I ever was for attempting this piece. I can muddle through Chopin's Heroic Polonaise pretty well, but Mozart requires so much precision. I can't even play his Sonata Facile k. 545 to my liking. Uchida is the best Mozart player I've ever heard - as close to perfection as possible in my opinion.

  • im currently playing that piece, but not as fast or good as you :)

  • He was a teenager when he wrote this.

  • @colourfulwithaU He was 21 when he wrote this.....

  • @colourfulwithaU He was 21 when he wrote this sonata...

  • @cheradinine8

No. This was written in 1774. Mozart was born in 1856. Therefore, he was either 17 or 18 when he wrote it, more likely 18.

  • @wasp228 it's exactly what happens to me hehe! don't give up, I won't!

  • I am currently working through Mozart's Sonatas and Beethoven's Sonatas, this should be next after I get Beethoven - Sonata # 6 In F Major.

  • i'm performing this tomorrow! I'm piano performance major

  • yayy i finally finished this piece! I LOVE IT!!

  • Delightful piano playing! TY!

  • BONITA MUSICA

  • I wanna learn this piece, I don't have the sheet music! :@

  • @Lawrencelovespiano

Search IMSLP K279 in Google, there is no way you can't find it from there.

  • @colourfulwithaU

Search "Mozart - Sonata K 279 - imslp" in Google. It worked for me, but I don't do that anymore, I have a book of all the Sonatas.

  • @Lawrencelovespiano

I have the sheet music, I never asked for it...

  • Beautiful music, absolutely love it.

i just hate how ppl these days don't recognize true beauty and art from these times or ever.

  • Great interpretation!

  • I'm learning this piece right now, but I only have the first two pages down and not up to tempo. Listening to this just further inspired me to continue and get it to tempo! Thank you!

  • @wasp228 I'm learning this too! I first heard it played by her, Mitsuko Uchida, and I adored it from the start. I started to listen this sonata before sleeping. I love it!

  • nice!
