Red in this game is based off of Red in the manga!

His starter pokemon was Bulbasaur.

He caught a Pikachu just outside of virdian forest.

He saved an Eevee from being experimented on by Team Rocket.

He caught Snorlax during a Bike race because it was blocking the Road.

Blue lent Red his Charizard so he could fly to the top of mt silver.

Green lent Red her Blastoise so he could use it to battle on top of mt silver.

Try reading the manga!

@Beautifulgirl1516 Most likely EV training, its when your Pokemon specializes in a certain skill, generally expanding on what it's good at. Ex: Scizor is good at ATK, so you train it with ATK EVs to raise it's ATK more, google it.
