any non F2P Heavy, Pyro, Engineer with sentry would totally dominate timbuk heavy. Any remotely decent soldier, medic, scout would have no problem at all. This is the most underpowered combo in game. Actually if you want to check if the server has f2p players just take the timbuk demo for a ride.
@insight1337 This new set is the most powerful "Demoknight" set in most scenarios. Of course it is underpowered compared to the good 'ol Nade + Sticky Launchers. There's nothing in the game more efficiently deadly than a good demo with his default weapons. However to call this 'the most under-powered combo in the game' is an outright misjudgment. This new Demo set should be considered just a fun, casual, alternative to playing a real demo. It's fun to kick back after hours of comp. scrims!
@Seabass307 People play demoknight because it is fun. Every head you chop feels much more rewarding than any sticky or grenade kill. The point is that I misjudged how important is grenade launcher for the demoknight. Airblast gives me heaps of troubles. Heavies leave me no chance. Sentries too. All these 3 I could safely remove with grenades from safe distance leaving scouts as the only true threat. Also 2fort is the best map for demoknighting.
@PKRockin7 Actually I disagree. You have to note that he was playing 2fort, corridors and indoor rooms where demoknights are most effective. If the players playing against him would've been even half decent, he would have died at least to the hevies. Any decent player will notice if he is being melee'd from behind and turn around instead of looking foward and firing a distant target while being hit three times. Don't get me wrong, he plays great, but the set isn't that good in normal conditions.
