2010 Camaro SS/RS L99 after Camshaft and Heads install at New Er

This one of only five cars so far in 2011 that has true active VVT. Most people do not realize that VVT in a stock car just retards the cam. This on has 9 advance till 3500 then retards slowly and at 7500rpm its retarded 2 degrees. Thanks to New Era Performance for developing this.

how much did it cost for the cam package? where did you get it from??

The heads were done by my husband who is a professional head porter. And he also does the tuning. We had it dynoed at CincySpeed during a dyno meet they had. There was another Camaro there with an almost identical setup (same size cam, cnc'd heads (not ported), headers, cold air intake) and his rear wheel was 469. Ours was 464. His car was a manual. Ours is an automatic. In case you didn't know, there is a 40hp difference between the stock manual and automatic Camaros.

It has Borla Cat Back exhaust and American Racing Headers (long tube). In the video it has SLP Loudmouth 2's. The rear wheel horsepower was 464.

What was the rear wheel horse power after doing the heads and cam. I have a 10 camaro ss L99 and will eventually being doing this to my car? Sounds incredible

@moemoemoe567 mine has custom grind comp cam ARH headers and LMR instake and put down 430hp to the rear wheels only 3 mods on it and that's damn good if you ask me. also has 3600 stall and new lower pulley
