They might not be heroes to your standards but this is a way we show our appreciation to those who volunteer so those who don't want to go don't have to go. Maybe Iraq/Afghanistan/Vietnam weren't the right move, but the threat was real! WWI, WWII were very real, and we were attacked! -We got lucky that it wasn't worse, as it could have been. Our soldiers protect without discrimination, what kind of military would we have if soldiers started questioning what they are doing?
