BMW driver's fault--it's always the responsibility of the racing drivers to be aware of flags and such. That said, that's a really crappy pit out--narrow, and with all the equipment in place, practically a blind exit. Seriously bad track layout.

@segr3do it was another BMW on fire. that's why there was a YELLOW FLAG on the track already, which is why the BMW driver should've been slowed down already. but he was going way too fast and the safety car came out to stop the race...not the safety cars fault if the BMW driver was going that fast on a yellow.

To me it looks like the burning BMW was in turn 2, the turn after the fatal one, and yellow flag means "no best time", not "pull over and stop your race car". Besides, the safety car was too far out. He doesn´t need to crash the BMW to stop it. The drivers do have a team radio who tells them what happens where. The safety car should just have collected them, and it ended up in the biggest safety car fail ever!!

I think the safety car came out too much. Why didn't the safety car come out more gradually?

Really they should have informed the safety driver before he exited, but in a way i think he exited far too aggressively and the only reason is probably because they didn't want the cars to do another lap. But, get the safety car out sooner! Not late like this...unprofessional shambles!
