How about Ninja Scroll? Great stylised fight scenes and good fantasy plot. Princess Monoke (by Hayao Miyazaki)i has fantastic animation, clever story and lots of weird imaginative touches. Spirited Away too (also Miyazaki)

I finished Ninja Scroll it was awesome but kind of sad. I am a few episodes into astroboy and I am downloading Highlander: The Search for Vengeance. I also finished Afro Samurai Resurrection it was not as good as the series but decent anyway.
