I'm from the north=east Ohio area and I still have alot of respect for him for being the last guy to leave Cleveland from late nineties era. The Indians in the nineties truly were one of the best put together teams in baseball history.

They had allstar level players on every position. I didn't say they had one of the greatest records of all time, I said they were one of the best put together teams in history which they were. During that era they were second only to the Yankees. The Yankees don't all ways win either, especially this season, but they are one of the greatest teams.

Yeah they had nothing to show for it I'll admit that, and it sucked to be a fan in that situation, but they were still a great team. Alot of the allstar level players started to leave because of it and alot of them won the world series with other teams, proving they were great, they just couldn't make it work for the Indians.

I'm not bitter about anything. I was more behind other teams of that era anyway. I am just stating that they were one of the best all around teams. No weak spots like other teams have. I have also stated that the Yankees of that time were better put together than them so they took most of the championships of that era. Now I'm sick of this discussion, and I won't be respondiing again so don't bother.
