I'm not sure why he rejected Beck's offer to come to the service before his rally in Washington. Your ideas sound EXACTLY like his.
I'm not a person who supports interfaith movements- my family left our church b/c it was becoming too worldly & "emerging" but Beck's thing was a/b uniting under God to get our country headed back in the right direction. I understand God is different to different religions, but our forefathers were not all the same religion & yet they wrote a God inspired document.
