American people? You mean Alaskans. You and most of the country probably had no idea who he was before this felony crap. You also don't know that the defense on this case withheld documents that would have proved his innocence and THAT is why he's appealing these crap convictions.

He has done more for Alaska than anyone else for any state and most Alaskans know this. Until you live there all your life and see what he's done for a state that gets no recognition, then you can have an opinion.
