  • Definitely kitten, I've had a few of my own and that mouth thing was pretty much only the two love-to-be-outside cats did. Except they did it to birds and occasional bugs. Our biggest is a chicken but he does that at the window, and its hilarious because you just know that once he went outside he'd freak out from a leaf, shred your arms, and dash inside. Hahaha yours is just an adorable lil creature s/he is =3

  • Mmm tastey that kitties really thinking :P

  • @BeliyKon

That is just wierd, your comment!

  • 1. pause the vid.

    2. rapidly press 6 and 7.

    3. enjoy.

  • Cute video! I love it when my cats would get all hyped up about birds and squirrels.

  • I love that stupid-clicking-put-a-spell-on-the-prey-psycho-noise cats do xD the bigger the prey, the more psychopathic becomes a cat!!!!

  • your cat looks retarded

    he didnt do anythin

  • That cat is possessed by a ghost of a chipmunk.

  • totally did some crack before he was in this vid

  • she want a drugs

  • ugly face.

  • @BeliyKon Omg I laughed when I saw the video then I read your comment and I just about died!

  • @BeliyKon LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL i suddenly bursted out laughing reading your comment. =)) ROFL

  • That was the most intense Staredown I have ever seen in my life.

  • So cute! The cats I have now don't do it but I've had cats that have done it. I thought it was just an excited thing; I didn't know it was a hunting thing :O

  • Death Chirps.

  • clearly the cat is a part of an african tribe.

  • big deal my cats do that all the time and by the way they do that because there mouth is like watering almost as if they can taste what they are looking at

  • the cat looks like it has tix xD

  • omg that was so funny, looked like your cat was speaking squirrel language. haha

  • @SaraESainsbury lol ya

  • mi gato hace los mismo cuando quiere cazar una mariposa

  • "Oh, that squirrel would be so tasty... I want it!"

  • My cats do that to. Why do they do that?

  • funny as hell seeing the cats mouth twitch and hearing it.

  • you are an ass

  • and your an animal worshiping dipshit. your probably one of those people who treats their fucking cat better than their own child.

  • cats are far better than children...

  • haha my kitty does the same thing

  • I want that squirrel, I want that squirrel! lol!

  • lol cute cat

  • he/she is quivering from rage

  • Excitement of the hunt!

When I had cats they did it all the time ,only usually at night at moths. very strange noise to wake at 3 in the morning to.

  • lol, dats cute!!

  • Yes, cats do still have a Jacobson's organ. Look it up. All cats, including the big cats have this organ.

  • no.. cat's do this because once, long ago, they had a jacobsons organ. like snakes stick their tongues out to "sense" what's around them, this instinct has survived with cats (although they no longer have the organ).

  • oh just kidding, i was mistaken! cats STILL DO have the jacobsons organ.

  • 1/5...

    sorry guys... no squirrel...

  • ya its outside

  • My cat makes that weird meow sound when he sees a bird.

  • its natural my cats did it

  • My cat twitches like that when he sees a squirrel/rodent. It's really weird.

  • man i love those weird clicks they make.....course, my "natural instinct" kitties do it at leaves.....gmmm

  • weres the squirrel?

  • he sees the squirrel outside the window its showing what he does about it

  • some people think that cats make that clicking noise because they're acting out how they would kill and chomp on their prey. seems reasonable to me

  • wierd!

  • i wonder why cat make that nosie my kitten dos that in the window to all the birds

  • a cat talking to a squirrel.... to a squirrel?

  • Its a group trait that has survived evolution. In the wild it signals hunting partners of a target while the target does not know what the sound is as it is an uncommon clicking sound. It has survived domestication as there probably was no need for brethers to remove that trait, and probably difficult to remove as all cats have it.

  • fuck

  • Where's the squirrel?

  • ya my cat does this too lol its awesome

  • It looks one moment like the cat would be talking like a squirrel to a squirrel...

  • i loe it when my cat does that!!!

  • wierd!

  • my cat do this when she see a fly :)

  • What is he doing with his mouth?

  • its natural... every cat does that when they see/smell a rat or in this case a squirrel...

    Its a reflex

  • they do it when they are excited during hunt

  • My two cats do that when they see pigeons up in a tree.

  • he's using clicks language to communicate with the squirrel lol :P

  • um is that cat part bat? hey that rymed! lol

  • it's making the squirrel mating call to lure it over...lol

  • lmao i know that reaction from the cat, it means it wants to eat it!!! i have seen my cat do this when he sees a bird, then he goes reallllly slowly creeping on it...although he fails to catch it

  • hes on catnip...lol 5/5

  • Is the kitty like trying to say a message or something? lol xD

  • my old kitty used to do that! with the laser light.. hed make an odd clicking noise with his mouth and attack the light while his brother and sister looked at him like he was some kind of idiot

  • wtf is it doing with it's mouth!? it looks like its haveing a sezure, lawl

  • they do that if they see prey, or fly's lol.

  • wtf iz da squirell?

  • is that cat making squeirrel noises?

  • sotrmygirl2525, Yup it's calling the squirrel. The pussy cat wants to play with it.

I mean it, It's what my pet guinea pig did when it saw an elephant outside my window. The guinea pig started trumpeting its little nose off!! Really!!

But then the elephant saw the neighbours dog and started barking.

Which would have been okay if the neighbours dog didn't see the stray cat & begin to meow.

  • lol, chain of weirdness!

  • that was wierd.......and how is that kitten vs squrrel when obviously it did nothing......

  • whatte hell?

  • Not a kitten? He was 14 weeks old and about 2lbs in that video.

  • @BeerBrewin No - not a kitten - it's been old enough to breed for a month.

  • @BeerBrewin You can tell he's a kitten from the way his whiskers are in comparison to his face :)

  • haha...that was hilarious...haha

  • wtf looks like Rubber Johnny with the mouth thing going on lol

  • my cat does the same thing, but not as fast

  • too bad you can't spell potatoes...

  • lol the cat would've ate that squirrel if ya let lose your cat

  • Actually, i've let my indoor cats (not declawed) loose a couple of times to see if they could catch the family of squirrels that's been invading my chimney. The cats can never get within 10 yards before the squirrels see and hear them. They're used to being behind glass where they can chatter and swish their tail around without scaring away the squirrel. But when they're outside, they have no idea that the squirrels can now easily detect them the moment they aren't separated by a glass door.

  • what did the cat do whit hes month?xD

  • its a calling thing like when they see a bird they do that clicking, trying to communicate, but most of the time its doesnt work

  • my cat does a vibrating meow when shes sees squirrels its so cute

  • my orange tabby does that same thing

  • What is he/she doing with it's mouth?

  • cats dont use eco-locaction dumbass, thats like bats or some shit i dont fuckin kno

  • ='-( I'd wish I had a cat....

  • i wish i had a squirrel

  • it almost looks like a focal seizure.....

  • It's not chattering. It's not hypnotizing the squirrel. It's called Chittering! It happens when cats get frustrated because their prey is out of reach. It's very natural and all cats will do it to some degree. Usually a "chirping" sound goes with it. Trust me, this cat is fine. Totally natural!

  • kitteh is using eco-location to pinpoint the exact location of the squirrel (oYo)

  • The cat uses morse to communicate with the squirrel! Now that's what I call a smart cat!

    (lol...)

  • 0:44 man talk about control. You can see in his eyes how badly he wants it.

  • I think what the cat is doing is "Bird calling", i think i heard some thing about that somewhere.

  • i dident see the sqirrel.

but what ta f... is going on with his mouth?

is he eating the sqirrel whithout chewing?

    hugs!

  • Cats do this to hypnotize birds/squirrels/other small animals.

Basically, it masks the sound they make climbing or crawling along tree branches towards their prey.

  • Huh! O_o My cat does almost the same thing when she sees birds. Wtf is this behavior? :|a

Thanks for posting this. I thought my cat was the only one that acted like this until now.

  • Hey!

When you don´t want to watch or don´t like this Video, please,

    DON`T WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To be honest, the video title promised something completely different and, although kinda funny, I have to agree with minimac.

  • I suppose you think the video should have be called

'adolesant Main-coon cross feline at glass door with slight reflection, spots somthing outside, possibly a squirell, possibly not, and gets excited...well timed zooming action, squirrel not actually in shot, sorry for getting you excited, I'LL NOW FUCKING KILL MY SELF!!!'

I don't think that would have fit in the video name coloumn. You Anus

  • lmao...that's hilarious. 1 thumb up. I don't know why so many hated your comment. XD

  • oh, get alive.

what do u wanted to see????

the "The Texas Kitten Massacre" ?

  • yeah...

you can say "like Mao Tze-tung" as well.

the only difference is, that he won his war.

  • haha

    it looks like my cat

  • It is so funny to see cats do this

  • haha the cat has parkinsons

  • I'm from germany and I hate how people from other countrys always use the word Hitler in every second sentence =(

  • AGREED!!!!!!!!

  • Hey, Ich bin auch aus Deutschland, also benutz ich seinen Namen in jedem Satz^^

Ausserdem meinte ich es als Reaktion auf den Komment mit dem Parkinson, Hitler hatte das auch, also alles wieder grün?

  • thats how cats talk shit

  • LOL

  • cats do talk!

  • Cute cat! I have six cats, I think two of them do that when they see a bird or a squirrel.

  • cats are awesome

  • ... but ive never seen her chirp like that. thats cool how cats do that.

  • when i try to talk to my cat when she sees a bird she will meow like shes telling me to shut up. i understand my cats language well.

  • is the cat trying to talk to the squirrel?

  • Yeah I know. Same with my cat.

  • no guys, its just a cats natural sence to snicker at something he's going at.like a bird for instance.

he'll snicker at it because its his way of saying 'hey!im gonna getcha!'or

'you dumb bird!get off my tree!its mine!!'

my cat does that all the time with birds, squirrels, and anything of the sort :D

also,he eats spiders, centipedes, millipedes, spiders, and many others like ants and stuff.

he's been keeping away bugs and stuff too,but we love him all the same!! :D

    ~themayor787~

  • that cat has a twitch

  • Uh, no. If you have a cat you would know that it's a cat's instinct to do that when they see prey.

  • Well that was incredible

  • he made it go 3x faster then the real vid

  • lol I thought it was fast forwarded at first.

  • no, he didnt...

  • does it have tourrettes? anyway cool cat

  • no lol thats what they do when they are hunting

  • He speaks squirl!

  • that was a boring video

  • lipsync XD

  • Yeah? Oh ya, he looks like a big cat to me

  • How sure are u its a squirrel?? MIght be something else. Birds most common

  • He always does it for squirrels.

  • haha, it looks like its twitching...

  • its called chattering... my does it too

would be nice if u subbed it lol

  • One of my cats does the same thing with her mouth when she sees birds and other animals outside. Shes afraid of the outdoors though so shes an indoor cat.

  • mine too.

  • Wtf is the thing its doing with its mouth? :D

  • No clue mine does the same

  • i think it's excited but it knows it can't get it other that i don't know

  • where is the squirll?

  • 50 seconds and no damn squirell

  • I think reading the comments are allways a lot funnier than the videos themselves. lol. People. =)

  • I LOVE THAT

  • I think he's just adorable he is really cute to bad he's locked up it would be better if he could go out and run after the squirrel ( he doesn't necessarily have to catch it)

  • Just the other day he was on the patio and smacked a squirrel in the head several times before it ran off.

  • my cat just emits a meowing noise under his breath, as if saying, "your mine, chump..."

  • looks like it is talking. you should dub some words in this vid

  • syaoranpies, it isnt ill, my cats do that too, they do that when they see a prey that they cant reach, or something like that

  • It doesn't have tapeworm :P My cat does that too whenever he sees squirrels or pidgeons.
