But really, as someone who was introduced to Neutral Milk Hotel through In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, it's pretty interesting to hear them sound so damn fuzzy.

This specific song kinda reminds of maybe early 90's Flaming Lips or just 90's Alt Rock in general. Very different from their more folksy sound on their second album.

It's not on an album.

Early NMH released a 7" on Cher Doll Records in 1994, containing this as the A side, and Snow Song Pt 1 as the B side.

It's a very limited pressing and hard to come by (it is available on CD though).

I have a copy of the vinyl and will never part with it.
