He was in a 83 Henge video at the site weeks before the festival started with a large group of genuine hippies, playing music etc. Would really like to contact this chap / or his entourage for interviews..was very takenwith the lifestyle him and his group led .
was there an all , also in '88 which was back to the trunchon/shield battering technique ! fled uk in '94 but wouldn't go now as its a disney attraction thesedays !

I remember it well. After several years of using raw violence, the police switched tactics and used massive numbers and draconian laws. The atmosphere there was much more tense and intimidating than the clip implies in my experience.
