  • A vehicle that comes with a spare bridge. that's very handy.

  • joedios.com is a great site for Joe fans and those nice setups.

  • one cobra eel didn't like this vid. poor bastard, lol!

  • i've thought of getting some of my old figures out an head to a spot that looks like the one's seen in these commercials, getting a camera out an doing my own little commercials like set ups an just have some fun.

  • come separated... I hate that

  • boy i want that bridge truck

  • its cool to see the toys i played with as a kid, like shipwreck redesigned for my kid to play with now

  • zomb billy mays!

  • i still have the vehicles in this comm ercial .. haha i have toys older than soulja boy

  • If it wasn't for the toys in the 80's being the best toys ever made that decade would have been a load of crap to grow up in.

  • amen !

  • I haven't seen this in 25 years and I still remember it clearly as if it was yesterday.

  • btw did you ever notice that the kids always had the best terrain to play on...beautifully sculpted mounds of dirt with no dog poop insight

  • yeah always in a controlled conditon! our playing place used to have cat poop its like a landmine!!

  • hahaha thats what I was thinking right before I read your comment

  • @reanimate280 true, i had the bridge layer, and i never ever found a way to use its bridge laying ability

  • fuck yehhhhh!.......those little crackheads in the commercial make me want to scream YO JOE!

  • how come they dont have toy commercials anymore?

  • @ChicanoTattooArt Its all about Playstation and sex now. No plays with toys anymore :(

  • @PanFascist85 i do and I'm 16.

  • @ChicanoTattooArt Yea I know right?

  • i used to have the bridge layer was cool but not that fun cuz finding a place too actually use it was impossible. Not a very succesful toy in terms of fun.

  • Mi mom never buy me the Bridge Tank :( But i have D.E.M.O.N tank ^^ .

    Classic toys ftw

  • i was the only one i ever knew who had the bridge layer.

  • the awe srtiker is awesome. but in the show it holds like 18 gi joes

  • I think that little boy with the afro is me at 0:07 sec. I remember the auditions and the commercial Shoot, but never acutally got to see the commercial Due to being overseas. My dad was in the AF and Stationed in Spain at the time. Holy Crap its a trip to see myself in the commercial when I was little. LOL

  • I remember these vividly. Even though we did not have a sandbox, our backyard worked great. Oh and we had alot of stuff.

  • Im only 11, and I think these toys rock! My dad gave me his childhood collection, plus i have the Resolute 5 pack. The only thing that sucks: I dont have Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow! DX

  • weren't toys so cool in your dad's time? :D

  • i remember diggiin holes in my back yard and having the hose running to make a river and flooding parts of it..lol parents were PISSED !...kicked ass though

  • Really though, who had a fucking giant sand pit to play in? The commercials always showed some crazy scenario but my backyard never compared.

But, it was back in the day when you used your imagination to have fun if you were a kid.

  • dang! i miss those great times (i was a kid)when it comes with toys! its really an excellent era of toys...you really use your imagination when playing....unlike now dats its mostly video games...

  • God Bless the 80's. Oh to be a child and grow up then. I miss that shit.

  • yeh ahah takes back memorys on the G.I.joe i still got all the toy collections in the shed lol i might get them out soon and have a look at them been so long they are still in there packets rofl

  • I used to curse those fuckers because they had the best setups....

  • HAHAHA!!! I know!! But those brats acted retarded, and I didn't......er....NOT ME!!

  • FUCK YEAH!!!

  • my backyard never had the cool crevices and streams and creeks that the kids had in the commercials :(

  • My favorite..the A.W.E. Stryker...the buggie with real suspension!!..tons of fun when i whas a kid..YO JOE!!

  • Gi Joes wer the best al around the world,my fav jet was gijoe skystriker!Amazing research they made in their toy line too! Most popular series in india too!

  • Now that I think about it, I do remember using thick styrofoam inserts used to protect items and set up 3 or 4 of them as the platform.

  • Gotta give a shout out to the Tactical Battle Platform. I never had one, but when I was younger I would gather up some stuff around the house to make a makeshift Battle Platform(again my imagination at 5 yrs. knew no boundaries). Yo Joe!

  • I thought the bridgelayer was a pretty keen toy. I would try to find a toy or something around my house that would transport my gi joe or other kinds of toys across one area to the next. My five year old mind was just fascinated by the bridgelayer:)

  • Damn it, why do you need a bridge when you were plaing on the floor? They should've sell the terrain also, I used to play them on sofa, carpet back then.

  • you know...come to think of it....the bridgelayer was the lamest vehicle...when i played with my joes, bridges were not in the field of combat...hahahaha

  • Yeah, but who did all the kids come to when they needed a bridge? Me, with my bridge layer, that's who! (^-^)

  • Yeah, but who did all the kids come to when they needed a bridge? Me, with my bridge layer, that's who! (^-^)

  • did it say catching cobras is really tough you know and cobras always fucking with gijoe

  • The Hasbro logo at the end reminds me of the Mark VII Limited logo.

  • those kids are having a little to much fun lol

    00:07 to end

  • alright I know what it's saying now..

'Dancing cobra's really tough you know, and Cobra's always fucking mess with G.I. Joe'

    :) lol

  • thats weird i dont think old people collect these, they sell em for a dollar i believe which is cool. What does the song say? it really sounds like its saying fucking ahahahha, i remember i had that jeep!

    lmfao XD!!

  • "dancing cobra's really tough you know, cobras always fucking with GI JOE"

    LMFAO!!!!!

  • The Bridge-Layer IS awesome!!! ... for all of three seconds. Tollbooth (The driver that came with the vehicle.) Had an awesome sledgehammer though.

  • The Bridge-Layer always kind reminded me of the Tranformer in the movie Big, with Tom Hanks, that transformed from a robot to a skyscraper. Not much a kid could do with a bridge.

  • lol..bridgelayer. Bridge layin is cool... We'll bridgelay your ass Cobra! YOJOE!

  • you americans are all so sad about this g-i joe, u colect them your ither realy old and gay of young and hopeless

  • You Americans ? learn to spell in english before you insult us ! USA USA USA !!!

  • Yeah I know who the hell was that guy? Even a cobra agent would have thought of something cooler to say and they spell better lol. GIJOE rules so does USA!

  • This series still kicks ass, and is way better than that gay Family Guy crap. Then again, you're probably one of those game boys with no life, overweight, sits at home and plays his XBOX. A typical inbred limey with bad teeth. ;P

  • Ha ha, funny stuff. Now he knows and knowing is half the battle. Now drop and give me 20 maggot.

  • I was never wild about the Bridge Layer but the AWE Striker is a must. I have the cool black one they released in 2000 but I wouldn't mind getting the original one day.

  • Cobra blew up the bridge?

    What a dick!!

  • ok? whut was that

  • Yeah, I passed on the bridge layer, too.

  • Never mind "Crankcase" and "Tollbooth". I still have these and most of my collection.

  • "bridge layer"??? Aw, man... that was one ticked off kid that got this vehicle.
