Tarja and Anette have their own styles. I think it's unfair to hold Anette to the standards of Tarja.

I LOVE tarja's style . It's classy and one of a kind. To be fair, there are song that I believe that Anette should not sing, because the songs were designed for Tarja's voice.

But I like Dark Passion Play just as much as any of the Nightwish Albums with Tarja in them

Tarja made Nightwish unique. Giving them a wide fan base. From 12 year olds to people in their 50's. And crossed music genres too. From metal people to rock people to pop people listened to them. They may now have a larger fan base. But the diversity is gone. Making them just another rock band with a female lead singer. They may still be good. But many bads are out there that are just like them. So they have lost that unique quality about them. That is what I think...

I am absolutely envious! I was going to go to that show. I planned my whole budget around it, so that I could take the trip to San Francisco and and attend the concert without overextending myself. Unfortunately, I was living with my brother at the time, and he didn't tell me how bad things were with him. Suddenly, the house was swept out from under us, and I was forced to put that money toward securing a new place to live. I hope I have another opportunity to see her in the future.
