That eDVR has seen better days, and now I use a Hero Wide Cam from goprocameras I've got some footage on the slash, also on a Baja 5T, and a plane following around a couple Bajas
Thanks a lot, there were 40 drivers, and about 3 different heats of races. They mostly just keep the tires stock which limits it quite a bit, but we do use brushless motors and lipo batteries, even do some suspension upgrades. I just put a different slipper clutch in mine for tonight race
You're paying pretty close attention to which one is yours, and they all mostly have different paint jobs on em. Tough when 5 are piled on top of each other lol, then it's up to the corner marshalls to sort it out
Thanks a lot, love getting good shots of stuff. eDVR are good, but I just picked up a Hero Wide camera, and I think traxxas has their own version of it, amazing quality pictures
Thanks a lot, heard about it from Go Go Hobbies in Coquitlam, think the next one is the end of February, call Cam at Go Go, he should know where to get more info
Norms at the time was stock except the Lipo battery, which the Slash comes with no battery at all, so .. Norm has recently put a brushless setup in it, not sure which one, don't think it's the Mamba, maybe Novak? or Castle
the onboard cam is only 89 bucks or so, ebay has them, and a lot of other places. Called an eDVR 5in1 from ST labs, weights less than 1 oz, and does usually much better quality than that, lens on it is scratched up, been using that one couple years now on planes
Thanks a lot, onboard cam is an eDVR 5in1 usb sick camera, but looks like the lens was dirty in the snow, and in the race, too bad. We'll do more of that I'm sure, and have better onboard stuff. Check out my other RC aircraft channel too youtube/rcfreehold and thanks for watching
