Slipknot and Rammstein are my two favorite bands also. I'm going to have to pick Slipknot on this one simply because I have been a fan of them longer and their music has helped me through a lot. Also, Slipknot and Rammstein are two very different bands and you need to be open about things to appreciate them both, which I do very much, but I find Slipknot's music to be more experimental and have a little more variety and emotion.

I don't think it's only a question of who is better than who. It's two different styles. And we need both of these bands. But in my opinion, Rammstein has way more good songs than Slipknot because of this great talent to mix brutality and finesse. And Rammstein didn't change style at all. Slipknot did, and that's why I choose Rammstein. The conditions are different between Slipknot and Rammstein, but I feel more comfortable with Rammstein's than Slipknot's.

The old Slipknot was a great representation of brutal music before going on a more mainstream direction. Slipknot was heavy metal music and you obviously need to feel this absolute brutality, sometimes. And they were able to make you feel this brutality perfectly. But Rammstein is brutality and art together. It is a band that will make you feel a tons of different emotions at the same time. You can have so much synchronicity with Rammstein. Slipknot is more direct.

This is crazy that you posted this video because they also happen to be my two favorite bands BUT.................I have to agree with you. Rammstein is probably more popular overall, and in my opinion a slightly better band......but thats just me. THANK GOD FOR BOTH BANDS!

@666sicheretic6 I don't really agree lol... They are in two different genres of metal... Slipknot is heavy and Rammstein is industrial. Not to mention they are German xP ... They had an advantage because (I know this is terrible) I started getting a little tired of Slipknot... It's cause they don't have any new shit... I had heard everything and I was like... this is boring.. Also because I LOVE Germany.. so xD
