He does not want to abolish public education. He wants education to be administered at the state level.

Ron Paul remembers we have a constitution, qwerty. Only congress can declare war and only Ron Paul would respect that constitutional power. Our presidency was not supposed to assume these dictatorial powers that it now has. If Ron Paul were prez during the 40s we'd still go to war...cause congress declared it.

Non-interventionism is not isolationism. Check wikipedia, isolationism is basically protectionism, and Ron Paul is not a protectionist. It's important that we learn from history, WWII was a direct result of WWI, which without unnecessary U.S. involvement would not have caused WWII. You have a long reading list ahead of you!

RP's writing is better - check it out at lewrockwell dot com. He's making the weak case here that our 'being over there' causes hatred. The assumption is that when 'we' 'go somewhere' we bomb it to pieces first, or set up a puppet government.
