I remember when I started to listen to KROQ, it was the same time Stryker started out there. Sad to say they way they kept pushing him on us I knew it was a matter of time before they made him the host of something (either the morning show or Loveline). Suffice to say the show suffers without Adam, it isn't even remotely funny as it once was. Its a shame too, I liked the show a lot.
When Howard Stern went to Satellite Radio, Adam took his morning time slot on the west coast. His show is awesome and you can get it in podcast form over itunes everyday, commercial free.
I'm joining the chorus. I've listened to Loveline maybe three times in the last two years. I really liked the balance. Adam brought the funny and Drew brought the education. I learned a lot about the human psyche during the five years I listened to it.
The good news is that Carolla's morning show has found its footing. Thankfully Free FM puts the entire show online in MP3 which is good for me since it's not syndicated in my area.
adam and drew formed a perfect 'foil and straight man' duo. The great thing about it was, it wasnt an act - their natural personalities were genuine compliments to each other.
same here, sucks because i love dr. drew but without adam the show isn't nearly as good. I like adams morning show but that isnt nearly as good as the old loveline days.

@gorgotno I have read his book numerous times and he stopped said he stopped doing standup and went to improv because he wasn't good at standup. He then transitioned from improv to radio. So he does NOT have an extensive stand up background, but he has done it. He DOES have an extensive improv background.

As Adam said stand up guys are comedy warehouses where they script their routines, Adam is a comedy Factory where he comes up with his 99% hilarious rants on the spot and he uses the situation to come up with his spiel. I agree that stryker is no adam carolla, but I don't think it's wise for adam to knock stryker. Yes, what he says is on point, but he should watch it out of respect for dr. drew and for loveline. Loveline is an important show and dr. drew provides a good service. I just don't want people to not listen to loveline now because adam isn't there. In fact, in his last show he made a statement about the importance of supporting the show. Although stryker is painful to listen to, I do for dr. drew
