@OmegaMaxter The JP version is the default track for Metal Sonic. This track is an unlockable. You have to either collect red rings or do missions to unlock it. Then you can play it on any stage.

@OmegaMaxter If you are reffering to Sonic CD do you know it contains both sound tracks? In the main menu i think its "extra" or " settings" you can change it from US to JAP music

This remix is actually not as good the original either, which was a huge let down for me. In the original the guitar rifts were much better sounding, they sound like they're reverberating in this remix.

it's kinda funny, I live in the UK but the first time I ever played Sonic CD, it was on Sonic Gems Collection which used the US soundtrack, not the EU/JP soundtrack, maybe that's why I love this version as much as the other one!
