  • What about the fizzy sound issue?

  • I heard that i can conect USB cabel in it and to the computer and then download for example David Gilmurs tone and id sound like him

How can i do that, its all messed up!!

  • Glad you got one without fizz, I have to return my IV tomorrow.

  • Yeah man...best value for your dollar with the software etc....Thx..Ed

  • These amps are a blast!! Ive had mine over 6 months and still messing with the settings! There are crazy amounts of various tones that can be had here!Take it from me,Ive owned lots of old tube amps since the 80s ,these amps kick ass without the hassle of tubes!

  • Does it come with a footswitch? Or do you have to buy it?

  • @MrImRegi You get a 2 button footswitch if you buy a Mustang III, but if you buy Mustang IV or V you get the 4 button one. You can also buy it separately.

  • yeah and it has a head phone jack also....

  • can it be turned down really low for practise use?

  • @thestrid82 Yes, or you can plug head/earphones into it and not have anyone but you hear it (this aux. port also allows you to plug iPod, etc. into it, and use it as a speaker)

  • I believe it would serve you well...There are a TON of amp modles and stopn boxes and effests to get alomost any sound you want.! With the "Fuse Software" the combinations are endless. The Fuse software comes with the Mustangs for free along with Recording software! Great deal GREAT price...See my video on Fuse software....happy playing...God Bless....Ed

  • Yes it does...

  • This or the fender superchamp xd? I want to play SRV and Van Halen

  • I have this amp. So far I am only using the presets. Because that's the tone of the time period for those amps. The LCD display is cool. And the tuner spot on. I notice some of the presets were derived from the very first Cyber Twin. Which I also have. Great amp. Awesome tone.

  • Not to worry, it comes with software to record with, It was kinda hard to set it up, but its worth the try.and you would play through the amp's USB connection to yoru computer. if you notice the Chord on the right side of the amp thats the USB and thats how you get your guitar sound into your computer. You can use othe software too for recording...Its a very good deal for all that you get...Ed

  • sounds good anyway i've heard that you can record with it which means does it work also like a sound card/platform, or to record with the software that comes with it i should buy another sound card? sorry if explain myself bad, i'm a caveman when it comes to computers :D and can you connect pedals on it?

  • can i get a high gain death metal tone out of this amp?

  • I have this amp and you can play at low vol and still sound good I love it

  • This amp is very good for clean, rock and hard rock tones. Very tube sounding and great sparkle for that style. I dont think it does a good job with metel though, its sounds too processed to me.

  • Does this amp "eat" outside distortion and efx pedals like a real amp?

  • Hi Eddie, how noisy is the amp? i'm looking to get one of these but am wary that modelling amps can get noisy with hiss etc.

  • You dont have to turn it up for it to sound nice, you can use it at home, and or you can get the Mustang I its only 15 watts thye both will work for home use. The Mustang III has more features so its up yo you really...ed

  • is this way too loud for home use? Because i like the big diameter speaker but if it's way too loud then i'll be waisting money :(

  • I have this amp and love the Celestion G12T-100 (Hot 100) Speaker. Lots of bass punch for heavy metal and 80's/90's rock. I've owned recent Vypyr and Line 6 gear and the Mustang feels more organic with great touch response. I will never sell this amp because it is so versatile. I use the 4 button and 2 button pedals simultaneously with this amp. The Fender Bassman setting is worth amp price alone.

  • Hey guys I put up a quick video that discusses Heavy Metal foot switches and fuse software..thanks ed

  • Great video, I am new to all this so thanks for the intro. Could you show us how the pedals you mentiond work please.

  • alright cuz i need a new amp soon ! so just let me know

  • It can get pretty Metal sounding!! and its loud!!

Ill doa video of that soon ok...

  • would u recommend this for guitarist that are more heavy ? more of like a screamo/hardcore ?

  • Hey..I really like the amp it has a lot of options. For live playing I use a Pod X3 live foot pedal, throught the Audioriums main Pa System. I use the Mustang 1 and 3 in my studio as a teacher I need different sounds when teaching students new songs. They have all the pre-sets built in ready to go. If your a tube "purist" you wont be happy, but if your looking for a lot of different sounds that sound really good Mustang is it. With the software package for the money its is well worth it ..thanks

  • @eddie30969 hey, I have a Fender classic seried 60's strat and I'm thinking of buying that amp. I like to play specially classic rock and blues (pink floyd, clapton, beatles, led zeppelin, etc). Do you think this amp will be fine to play that?

  • So now that you have had the amp for a little more than a month what are your thoughts? Is it still a keeper? I always find these you tube videos so hard to determine what an amp will sound like in person. So far I like what I hear but I thought I'd ask your evaluation of it since you have had some time with the amplifier.

  • Excellent demo..I'm thinking of getting a Mustang II, but I'm now leaning towards the III. Thanks.

  • Hey..thanks for the comments and info on the patches....Yeah I bought the Mustang 1 and fell in love with the tones so I figured the Mustang 3 would be even nicer...The software I installed for Mustang 1 (fuse) worked perfectly for the Mustang 3. I didnt have to reload it, the Fuse softwares recognized it immediately. I havent used Ableton recording software yet cause I have my own Recording software,,,,Thanks again for the comments...Ed

  • Very nice video, good simply ez to follow video

FYI ... The Tooh and Nail is a preset for the band "Dokken" and Cold Sweat is for Mr " Stevie Ray Vaugh"

I played 1 of these at a local store and it knocked me for a loop, i couldnt believe how well the damn thing sounded and responded to my crappy playing lol. It has nuance and feel like a tube amp, it really surprised me as i was skeptical. Nice job by Fender and again a nice cool demo :-)
