Seeing Hornus Wagner at the beginning got to me big time. The history of this ballclub is incredible, and this is the closest you could come to seeing that man in action. our time is so exciting but to see the dead ball era and see the skills those snipers needed to even scrap for the average 3 to 4 points if that a game would have been superb. thanks for this vid guys!
@MrPittsburgh11 the video was primarily released on the Benstonium site, which keep separate stats than our YouTube account... but I still totally agree!
Man great video dude. I was a huge pirates fan since i was little and living baseball. I remember watching them implode Three Rivers From the clean n' care factory by my house when I was 3. I've spend countless hours at PNC averaging at least 8 games a year, and after game watching them lose, i would bet money I have had seasons where they lost every game I went to and at one point I gave up on the Pirates. I hope they get better but when your 5-10 years old
@theKennyHalt and have your favorite players constantly being traded or leaving where like mine were ( Kendall, T. Redman, Mesa, Torres) you get frustrated. I did have some great moments and a streak of 7 wins when I was there including McCutchen hitting 3 home runs, first home win against the Yankees since game 7 in 1960, Pedro Alvarez(i think him) extra innings walk off home run. The jumbotron clips of fucking Brandon Wood walking out of the Second street mural sicken me.
This is incredible, and I am now a huge fan of your videos. wow. best part was when the logo changed as you went from 70s pirates to the current pirates. i mean.. so much attention to detail in that composition. wow...just wow.
@MrBrettjet haha wow..when i put that shot in there i seriously wondered if those people would ever see themselves in the video. u should pass it on to them!
@hooper119 LOL, already did on FB. If i remember correctly they were cheering right after Mccutchen got announced to be going to the ASG and Mckenry got a double.
