Shadowers have less recasting time on skills and they have a variety to use instead of just spamming genesis. It takes spamming to train a bishop but it takes skill to train a shadower :P btw whats the recasting time for smokescreen

shadowers are the 3rd fastest trainers(bishops 1st arch mages 2nd)

and we do not have the lowest dpm on bosses that goes to mages.

also assassinate after 12 secs does 199x4 max now

and bstep does like 20-30kper hit and theres 2 hits plus u can hit up to 4 targets and its delay is down to almost 1 sec

we arent the best bossers but we can survive the longest due to shadow shifter high avoid BStep and smoke screen

we are extremely good trainers bc of our variety of skills.

Nicely said. =) Although were not amazing bossers. The best bossers for DPM would be NLs, BMs, Corsairs, and Warriors of all sorts. And Arch Mages and Bishops are great for killing Zakum's Arms.

@Axel3510 i disagree interms of shadowers being the 3rd fastest trainers. heroes and dark knights are way better interms of damage and maneuverability. shadowers might be able to hit the amount of damage you insisted but they are only liable to do so at a certain level. plus 12 seconds of delay for assassinate is not worth it. in 12 seconds a lvl 150 hero can do like 1mil damage.

@ftart heros and drks have better damage but they dont have better training speed. your forgetting our attack called taunt. +40% exp,drop rate. and monster def. thats what makes us the 3rd fastest trainers.

@Axel3510 taunt only adds 40% extra daage when maxed. you wont even max it until the ealry 150s, when all crucial skills are maxed. assassinate is very unreliable compared to the cannon of corsairs and Drk/Heroes/Bowmasters. i got nothing against shadowers. im trying to become one. im just stating the facts. plus you also forget that taunt reduces the damage of your attacks after activation to 60%.

@ftart yeah when maxed it add 40% to all of that but technically it lowers ur damage by 40% instead of the monsters def but thats why u use taunt when they are one bstep away from dead. assassinate is only used for bossing which we are quite low in on the dps chart so i agree with you on the other attacks being better.

it all depends on your build and playing style when to max your skills

You are very right on most of those things, however, GMS raised the damage cap to 200k now.

A level 150~ shadower with an onyx apple can hit 4 200ks within 3 seconds now. They are perhaps the best class out there now.

LOL you have been playing a bit too much private server? o_O or a long time ago maple`? like 2-3 years ago?... -_- hear me a bishop can hit like 70k to something 90-100k

and when NL's throw their 3x(shadow partner)2 = 6 stars it will be like 11-18x6 = around 60-80k but shadowers... they got 1 skill what hits 2 times what hits like 50-70k each hit = 100-140k :D and then their attack what you need to load whit hide can hit whit 3 hits almost 170k o_O

I never played any Private Servers, i play Maple Global since the beginning. Bishop (lvl 165) does 99K, a decent one. A NL, on level 175, a decent one, does 40K x 3 + 20K x 3 (average). Thats 180 K. A decent Shadower at level 160 does 30K damage x 2 (60K), every 2 seconds. Assassinate, from a decent Shadower, does 30K damage x 3. Thats the damage of the ONLY attacking Shadower at HT. A loaded Assasinate does a half mil damage tough. I play a Shadower. And i have played all other 4th jobs 2.

Thats after 12 seconds. In those 12 seconds a Bishop can do 6,399,936 damage, and a Night Lord can do 2,592,000 damage.

Bishops and Night Lords have highest damage / second and highest exp/second, thats why Shadowers are harder. But they are way cooler to play.

Besides, it is not the damage that makes a Shadower good, its how skilled he or she is. By a Bishop and Night Lord, its mainly damage, cause they only have 1 main training skill. (AVenger is only good at a mob from 5 or 6 targets)

A Genesis = 3 seconds, so 4 Genesis in 12 seconds. (i have tested this). A decent Bishop always hits 99 999 damage, and max on 16 targets, so make the calculation, and you com on this.

I answerd that question a few days ago. I would never go that low and play a PS. I am a Shadower, and i have been KSed enough to know the damage of other classes, im an average dit. And NL and Bishops can easily KS other classes. How well, i must admit that our speed is one of our advantages against Bishops at one hit kill monsters. I have never played a Private Server.

No shadowers do much more than that, Ive seen shads do 40k Unappled each hit on boomerang step, and they do 40kX4 on uncharged assassinate. thats normal for level 150, Heroes do 30kX2 or less at that level.

Plus the Shadower has different specialties that are either not useful to others (like the variety) or are passive (Love4Romance plays Omok while seducing at HT). But I heard the macro Assassinate+Boomerang Step quickly repeated provides a better DPM than a series of fully charged Assassinate? Assassinate's a nice sniping attack, but it doesn't seem very useful to me. (in spite of the aforementioned Love4Romance's 800K damage)

1. Zakum has cancel watt, thats where the 1s on zakum came from.

What do you factor in, for example, major ranger skills such as inferno, arrow rain, puppet, and hawk.

I need to take different routes and timing in my attacks depending on what ones i use or have active.

Im less likely to use inferno if i have hawk, so i switch to a more close approach with arrow rain and mortal blow, while at the same time, if my hawk runs out, i inferno the rest, throw a puppet, swim with arrow rain, mow down with strife (goby training)

Rofl, you seriously think ME isnt used for bosses? Its the sole reason they can beat bosses so quickly, ME is used to beat bosses at maximum efficiency and speed for close to 10 min runs, so that buyers can get their helms quicker and a fresh supply of boss drops is kept circulating in the market... ME is practically MADE for bossing.

The differences between the classes are totally different play styles anyway, different skills require different strategies.

In summary, yo wrong foo.
