Reply to Alchiby from Roadwarrior3 -- for what it's worth, I along with countless others have comments by the 1,000's on countless FH videos .... only to find these 1,000's of comments wiped out because the videos are taken down without a single explanation by YOUTUBE ... or ...now GOOGLE.

The French lyrics to this song are very different. The story of the French version is about a lost love, she asks why can't everything be faithful/dependable like the sun. She laments about a blond-haired child that now will never be. I like the French one better, though this is sung prettily.

Francoise Hardy was and still is one of the idols of my generation.All her music

is pure classic.French I do not understand but what the hell music has

no bounderies.

@igel10 Francoise music will never be dated,(like much of the trash out there today will)so much good music came out in the 60's much of it still played today.I doubt very much that the music of today will survive ,with the eception of a few here and there.As for Francoise her hauntingly beautifull voice sounds just as good now as it did all those years ago.
