The "accessible" bit is utterly brilliant, but so is the jaw-dropping first part. It's an epic. It's hard picking a favorite Sufjan Stevens song--I have about thirty now all vying for favorite--but my god this song tugs at the heartstrings of both sadness and wonder in such an extraordinary way. Best artist of the past three decades, bar NONE.
i'm not really sure how i feel about this entire album, as i'll have to listen to it some more. but this song is absolutely amazing.
