I fully respect (and agree) with what you're saying. But I think you seriously undercut the point of your message by using so much paper.
It's like if I advocated for animal rights while clubbing a baby seal. I know you are deleting negative comments so feel please free to delete this after you've read it.
Turning the power of Social Networking into Social Activism could be the key to do something for our world. This might nothing new for you, but it is if you look back 5-10 years. We can activate much more people in short time frame today, than it would be possible a decade ago.
I'm sorry but that made absolutly no sense to me what so ever! Can you please explain that to me in idiot terms for both me and the rest of the world! And why did you delete all the prevous comments? Too many haters?
I am discussing this issue with a few friend since a long time and we asked us, what makes our generation? In the 70s there have been the hippies, in other generations they fighted for their rights etc... and today? People are watching stupid videos on Youtube... and many young people use the web as the number one source for entertainment and information.
So I really believe that we can use "our" tools, instruments - the web to do something for our future.
In simplest terms....yes I agree. We are the generation of technology and self-entertainment. We should stop wasting our generatons time and start using it to everythings advantage, for the better of earth. Then again, I am still kinda confused. I think its the food poisoning I got right now. GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Stupid Movie theater popcorn!!!!!!! It fucked up my intelectual, intelligent brain! God danm it!!!!!! Anyway, you still didn't answer my previous question?
And there are already some cases where you can see how powerful it can be. Nobody could imagine 10 years ago, that it is possible to read a blog about the Irak-war, written by a soldier or by local residents who is reporting live what is happening.
Nobody could imagine following the terrorist attacks in Bombay (Mumbai) live via Twitter, because hostages are sending SMS and tweets from their blackberries.
I like it :)

so much fun to see how this guy talks about environment. How many unnecessary pieces of paper did you print out for this?

Let's get started by talking about population.

I like that you're trying to help the environment, but your video gives a "do what I say, not what I do" message, which doesn't help the cause.

And there are many ways you could have made a low-budget and environmentally-friendly emphasis of those phrases.
Most video editing software (even the stuff preinstalled in most systems) allows text overlays.
And if you just wanted to direct upload, you could have used YouTube annotations to highlight each phrase.

Awesome waste of paper.

You are wasting paper! However. A agree with you about human nature.

Are you seriously trying to promote helping the environment by typing 1 word on a sheet of paper then throwing it away? You better recycle that.

Man you're talking about economy, but you are wasting all that paper. Paper = Trees
It ain't right.

I invested the paper to reach you and other people via youtube. We need to get attention if we want to change the world to the better.
