I wonder what kind of response this movie would have had if it would have made fun of Islam. I think that they would be too afraid to offend a Muslim. It's safe to offend a Christian. No worries about fatwas issued against them by fundamentalist Christians, because they are all about loving your neighbor, not killing those you might disagree with.
Simon Pegg is an Athiest, but he is married...........Hmmmm. He doesn't acknowledge that God exists, yet he believes in God's foremost covenant.
@schmadle try and think about it some guy up in the skies created a planet in 7 days either that or theres a reason that can possible be taken serious besides has there ever been any actual proof that god exists? im not trying to change your mind or saying that your religion isnt the right one i just simply thinks its stupid writing that god exists when theres never been any sightings or actualy proof
@kallemick Hey, I appreciate your views, but the burden isn't trying to prove that God exists, it's trying to prove that he doesn't. Read the Bible, and then try to disprove it. It will take a while to really absorb it. Once you do, then we can talk. There have been people, probably smarter than you or I, that have set out to try to disprove it, only to come to the conclusion that it's the real deal. You have nothing to lose, but everything gain.
@schmadle to me god is the biggest joke ever i read some of the bible as a kid and all it maked me think of was why it was only back then that god was talking to people why was it back then that god filled the world with water and not today? and that rainbow thing is a joke also how can adam and eve have over a billion kids if theyre all in the same family? and how come nobody ever have found their bones?
@kallemick Those are all good questions. Most Christians had those questions before reading the bible too. It doesn't cost you anything but a little time to research it for yourself. Read 'The Case for a Creator', by Lee Strobel, or 'Christianity, Hoax or History' by Josh McDowell. If you provide contact info, I'll send them to you. Hey, if you're right, then you and I have nothing to lose. If Christ was right, then by rejecting Him, and His sacrifice, you have everything to lose.
@schmadle actually i got those questions AFTER i read the bible before i didnt really wonder because i thought there would be answers in the book but i never found anything so honestly i dont believe in god besides wheres your proof that im wrong? btw im not gonna buy a book because im arguing with someone at youtube
@kallemick I'm not arguing with you, and I did let you know that I would send you the books (I'll buy them for you). You said that you read 'some' of the Bible as a kid. How can you determine AS A KID, that God doesn't exist based on 'some of the Bible?' Most people reject God because they've come from a broken home and they have unresolved anger or guilt. Sometimes they reject HIM because He doesn't fit into their lifestyle. Don't you want to know why Christ died for you and me?
@schmadle i was thinking in a realistic way even back then i have aspergers so i have always been kinda smart in some ways anyway those things i figured out back then is still logical to me today it only makes more sense to me since you dont actually write any proof that im wrong and im sorry but i dont believe in god after watching paul so i dont really think that has ever happened it just dosent make any sense to me anymore
@kallemick Einstein was one of the smartest people alive, yet he even realized that our universe had a beginning, hence there had to be a creator. Issac Newton was a brilliant scientist, and also a Christian. Hugh Ross is an astrophysicist (Rocket Scientist) who also believes in the God of the Bible. As far as things making sense, how about the fact that you and I are communicating with each other half way across the earth. How? Why? How about the intricate design of the human body?
@schmadle yes einstein was problably thinking of the big bang theory (not the tv show) and i heard that about 90% of all scientist are atheists including stephen hawking the worlds smartest person and the human body comes from many years of evolution like paul said in this movie
@kallemick Stephen Hawking said in the movie 'Expelled', that the building blocks of our existence was planted on the earth.....possibly by Aliens. The world's smartest person? Hey, maybe your right when you say that Paul in the movie spoke about evolution. Makes more sense when Hollywood is involved, I guess. Anyway, most creationists think that it takes a whole lot more faith to believe in evolution, which states that nothing created everything. Evolution is man's religion.
@schmadle yes the worlds smartest person and he believes in aliens so i guess it makes sense to believe in aliens and the possibility that we were created by aliens is there i mean how do you explain all those old temples and stuff that cant be explained? also just because hollywood was involved dosent mean its not true i mean its not something they invented for the movie its something thats been known for a long time so it dosent change anything that its paul whos saying it
@kallemick Thank you for finally proving my point. By admitting that we were possibly created by aliens proves that you believe in the possibility of the human race being created by someone more intelligent. I can tell now that your reasoning is based on bad life experiences and choices. It's not that you can't believe in God, it's that you won't believe in God. To do so, would only contradict your lifestyle. Sometimes, in our arrogance, it's hard to admit that we can make mistakes.
@schmadle i am able to admit if im wrong and the fact that im saying we might have been created by something more intelligent i mean aliens and NOT god and i havent had that many bad experiences compared to those people i have met in my life the reason i stopped believing in god was because of the movie "paul" those things paul said about evolution and stuff maked me think thats to me its more likely that aliens exists then a guy in the skies who created the earth in 7 days
@kallemick; Anyone who has broken the ten commandments has committed sin; because of sin, we are separated from God, and worthy of death; Because He loves us so much, He provided a way for us to be reconciled, or forgiven; the cost was nothing to us, but everything to Him. He provided Himself, Christ on the cross to die in our place. All we have to do is turn away from our sin and accept what Christ did for us. This is the good news message. This is the truth. Please consider it.
@schmadle i dont really see where all that came from...... but anyway like i said to me the bible is a joke i dont believe in anything thats written from it and you cant really change anything
@kallemick O.K., but remember, you were presented with the gospel, and rejected the free gift of Christ. When it's your time to die, and you're before the judgement seat of Christ, remember our conversation. I'll pray for you my friend.
@schmadle XD sorry but that maked me laugh now you sound like one of those christian maniacs who thinks that they know when the world is gonna end a sign to that religions only causes problems
Why are they all saying 'kristen wiig'
