  • SAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • This free will can tear a soul apart.

  • Wow< I just noticed the blue cloth, the same one in the "Last Supper" Exact...

  • Michaelangelo was master of paintbrush as well as the chisel. He was a genius. DaVinci was architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer whose genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal.

  • michelangelo is a superior draughtsman then any other whos ever lived

  • Ebadormemante callrrlol eya latbrrllai cairell loool.

  • Heavenly,Godly,Genius****************Thank you very much for the Awesome

video of Sistine Chapel-Micheangelo**************Heavenly blessings to you***

  • We visited the Vatican museum today and the Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo was a genius

  • @Ihlati Yes: pure Genius!

  • splendidi capolavori. complimenti per la musica e per il video

  • Michelangelo is following the Greek ideal of beauty which is the masculine male nude. The scenes and characters are mostly derived from the Old Testament, but some are figures from religions outside of the Judeo-Christian traditions.

  • Someone needs to explain what each of these scenes depict because i am looking at them in horror! Some of them are downright gross. I am on the hunt for an explanation for some of these images and their meanings. Why do women look masculine?

  • @251melabelle just appreciate art done beyond human comprehension and capability, these were painted in the early 1500's, not 2011

  • @251melabelle he was not a painter and never wanted to paint freskos. But he had to, due to the danger losing favor with the Pope. The vaticans architect played a main role. He wanted to see Michelangelo fall, so he convinced the pope, that michelangelo should do these fresco instead of the sculptures, altough someone like raphael was more experienced. He conceptualized his figures. Either the male figure was THE ideal concept for him, or he just lacked drawing skills concerning the female.

  • THE greatest artist of all times, very, very close followed by Leonardo....

  • @gigimanjo I tend to think of them as equals, since they didn't really work in the same media. Leonardo was a master of the paintbrush, and Michelangelo the master of the chisel.

  • This is incredible, can't wait to go visit this chapel and the whole Vatican's City next winter.....I'm speechless with this video.

  • good job ..thankssss

  • 1:35 AUGUSTIS

Dies Irae, The day of anger, the last judgement, from Mozart requiem, quite acurate to the mural of the final judgement of Michael Angelo.

  • @jorgecarrillo2

    From Verdi requiem!

  • The music chosen is absolutely gorgeous; I feel it all really brings to life these paintings by Michelangelo. I just pray someday I might be able to share in these paintings splendor.

  • I cried when I saw these paintings in person, they are so gorgeous
