You do realize that Rorschach is a right-wing, moralistic nuthead, correct? Not that that's a bad thing (nor did I give him that label) but that's what he would be classified as. If you listen to what he says, he makes a lot of cutting points that probably go over half the heads who watch this film.

If you listen to the creators none of the Watchmen have a correct view of the world. the show is about what if superheroes were real. Because they obviously won't be a perfect superman. and its how their flaws and mistakes would have altered the world that really show the purpose of the film.

Please don't see what I'm not typing; I think Rorschach is an amazing character. But the fact is that he is characterized as a very brittle and broken human being, a person who does not seek to help others but rather simply to harm those he feels deserve it. It has nothing to do with justice, but rather pleasing the demons that plague him because of his messed-up childhood.
