  • When my dad used to put this on, i always imaged laurel and hardy as Bonnie and Clyde...... ok, I didn't realise at the time it was a man and a woman. DON'T JUDGE ME D:

  • what ever happened to Georgie Fame? He had a great voice and was a very handsome young man

  • Love it!

  • It's great that people post videos of artist and what have you but if you guys who do post don't get both the beginning or the end then don't bother

  • Even in the 1960's this must have looked a bit stilted and awkward. I love Georgie's suit however, he looks handsome in it.

  • georgie and his sons did a charity event at the miners recently all great musicians georgie gets better with age

  • Damn, the stations NEVER play this song anymore! :(

  • too bad we miss the ending on this

but thanks so much for posting this classic

rememeber it as a ground-breaking "pop video" from my youth

  • crude attempt at chroma-key??

hey not so crude!! in fact great, and the machine gun shake effect also great

to bad we must the ending on this

the first time I saw this video I thought Georgie was the coolest guy ever

and, of course, he still is!

  • This song is in the vain of The New Vaudville Band's 'Winchester Cathedral'. In '67-68 ish, looking back to the '20's was cool for a couple of months in pop culture....

  • He sounds alot Tommy Chong off drugs

  • this guy really rocks. I am impressed. I've always loved this song, just never saw the guy that sang it. how kewl!

  • This was a BIG song for him, but not his best song.

  • Poka e Xanoca....

  • "When I'm Sixty-four" is a really good Beatles cover off this album also. Thanks for this video.

Great song. Georgie looks pretty decked out in that suit. Keep on singing Mr. Fame.

  • haha ole georgie looks stiff here-he's much more at home sitting at his piano/organ

  • so it's such a no.1 song, i love it badly!

  • great movie great song

  • This song was ONLY recorded to coincide with the Arthur Penn Movie that came out at that time!

  • Actually that's not true. The song (the actual title of it was "The Ballad Of Bonnie & Clyde") was written & recorded by Georgie Fame not realizing that Hollywood/Arthur Penn was about to release a movie about the same subject. It happened by lucky happenstance that Fame would release the song and it would become a hit on both sides of the Atlantic at the same time that the movie starring Faye Dunaway & Warren Beatty in the leads was such a smash at the box office.
