Sorry, mate, but I gotta say tha thist was probably the least impressive video of the bunch. All that time spent waiting to see-- waiting to barely see-- a silly pen light with fiddly bits stuck to it.. Romana's screwdriver looked like an electronic tooth pick, but at least it looked a lot better than a few gears duct-taped to a pen light. Oy.

Just an FYI - handling eletrical tape has been known to cause testicular cancer. Seriously - read the label. Chemicals in it cause reproductive cancer! Use black duct tape.

well yes i am welsh and very pround to be so. and the doctor-who titanic was filmed in the theater house in swansea town and lot's of episode's have been filmed in margem park and in front of the cardiff arener so yes wale's and cardiff have been shown more doctor-who and tourchwood and iv seen your vid's very very good but u sound more american than engilsh

I'm not so sure about the various tacked-on parts, especially the drum at the back (tape deck motor? Incidentally, in an odd coincidence - I also recently stripped an old portable tape recorder for parts for a sonic screwdriver - though I was after electronic components rather than cosmetic greeblies). I think the bulked-up elec tape in the middle works, I think the battery contact spring on the front end works, but I think the cubes (potentiometers?) and the drum don't look so great.

@sonicdude171 There are several reasons that I would rather make one, 1: I'm a maker, it's what we do, 2: I'm broke as a joke, 3: It's more fun, and 4: It's a more personalized outcome. And at this point I've seen the first two episodes of th new season of Dr. Who. England isn't that far ahead lol.
