If I remember correctly, some jewel thieves set it to cover up for a robbery. They also locked Erica in a closet or something but she managed to get out.
It is nice to hear that she is very happily married.

This is sad because the baby died in a fire at the Château while Donna was performing -- and then she went insane and thought a doll was her baby.
