Well it technically isn't over yet. Two expansions are due out. Heart of Swarm is supposed to be out in 2011 and Legacy of the Void is supposed to be out in 2012, and they both continue the SC2 story from the Zerg and Protoss viewpoints.

And before people start going "HURRRDERP IT'S ONLY 1/3 OF A GAME" the original SC was shorter than this one. And there's still Challenges, Online, Custom Maps (which have some things like sidescrolling shooters like Contra people made), and so on. It's deep.

I cant wait till DSP starts playing starcraft online. I first got into his vids back when he started SF4. Im afraid he'll get too frustrated with SC2 online to continue playing seeing as SC2 takes time to learn and he'll have to play other video games.looking at some of his vids from single player, you can tell he hasent played an RTS game for quite some time.
