As a deep fan of Greek mythology, I can understand everyone's pain about watching a young Zeus but I have to watch the movie to judge. It really depends on the performance. I'm open to this young Gods idea even though it is unorthodox and unfaithful to the Greek mythology. Let's see how this goes.

I'll go see this movie, even though it does deviate from real Mythology, still this and "Clash of the Titans" would've been WAY better had they stuck to the true myths, even if half of the true story! Come on Hollywood, quit fucking around!

Funny, Zeus here is played by the guy who played Apollo (the son of Zeus) in Clash of the Titans. He's even wearing the same colour scheme in his outfit! Very original...

@blastme0ff Well first off the old guy with the deep voice depiction comes from the Disney animated film Hercules. Zeus is depicted as a brown haired man with a beard in Marvel comics and that is the only place he has been depicted regularly outside of the aforementioned Disney film. Even in the film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief he was not depicted as an old man. The movie is a story if Greek mythos and immortals would be young, Zeus was womanizer and an old man does not fir the part.
