@ObviousTrull being a soldier is not wrong. God instituted it in the old testament, and according to Luke 3:14, it still wasn't wrong. When the soldiers asked John "and what shall we do?" He said "do violence to no man, neither accuse anyone falsely". Now I will say this, I'm very suspicious of the motives behind the use of the army now. They say we're fighting for our freedom, but I think there's more to it.
