4 questions, for online use. 1. Does HootSuite embed videos, pics, & links in the timeline or do you have to be redirected off-page to see them? 2. When your friends RT, do you see THEIR icons or the icons of the random accounts that were re-tweeted? 3. Do Trending Topics show up on the page or do you have to go looking for them? 4. Is there an on-page notification icon so you know when you have new @ mentions or inbox messages? TIA.

HootSuite is far more than a Twitter client. It is a great way to monitor multiple accounts and schedule posts across over 40 different platforms if you stop to think about its interface!

I had to come to Youtube to look for some information. I'm glad you put some here, but why not actually put what you do on your site? Am i meant to get it through osmosis? I'm not that hip; I'm watching what this video now and still can't figure out what exactly hootsuite does? Even a one-sentence description up by your logo would help. I'd assume many like me don't have time to simply hope your service does something I want.

I just returned to your site and read the title, which does give a one-sentence description. Even though it's still short at least I have an idea that "Social Media Dashboard" alone didn't quite impart. I'd move that sentence into the page itself. but I'd also have a link for "What is hootsuite?"

Google Wave & Hootsuite do different things. Hootsuite is great if you have multiple Twitter accounts and totally hate to have to log in and manage them manually.
